Betty LaMarr is CEO and her passion is serving others through coaching and mentoring individuals in the corporate environment as well as small business.   Ms. LaMarr earned a BA in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. As an activist for change, the Mayor of Los Angeles and California’s Lieutenant Governor honored Ms. LaMarr for her contributions in a variety of youth organizations and community service.

Claudia Johnson, President has a unique blend of experience in both blue chip corporations (Microsoft, BearingPoint, Oracle, and Digital) as well as entrepreneurial startups. For the last five years, Claudia has been advising both large clients and startups on all aspects of business planning including strategic visioning, sales and marketing plans, alliances, consulting strategies, competitive analysis and pricing. 

Ms. Johnson has also been active in community affairs as a member of the Manhattan Beach Library Commission. She was a member of the Manhattan Beach Sister Cities Association and an Advisory Board Member and Managing Consultant at the Houston Technology Center. She is currently a Board Advisor to Worldcast.tv, a venture that strives to bring broadcast over the internet to remote communities.

Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Art History. She has extensive training in teambuilding, mediation, and strategic facilitation. Claudia holds a California Lifetime Credential to teach at the Junior College Level.

Vera Rhimes,ED.D - Vice President –  is a retired educator with more than 25 years experience as a teacher and university professor. As a professor, Dr. Rhimes lead DePaul University’s Education Leadership Program which focused on teacher and administrator education and training. She was instrumental in the creation of an ED.D Program in the School, as well as writing a grant and creating The DePaul Center for Culture Empowerment and Literacy (CCEL). Dr Rhimes has extensive experience working with school administrators in large urban and suburban environments to restructure programs and instruction. She has conducted many workshops (one for more than 500 Chicago teachers) in conflict resolution, team building, School Environment Analysis, and Planning in urban schools. She has extensive experience in grant writing and management.

Dr. Rhimes earned a doctorate in Administration and Supervision and a Masters in Educational Leadership, Miami University. She holds certificates in Middle, Elementary and Secondary School Education She has served on numerous boards and is a past president and Outstanding Educator Award Recipient of the Chicago Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa National Honor Society.


Lorraine L. Loder, Treasurer is principal in the Law Office of Lorraine L. Loder, which she founded in 1987. She has been in private practice since 1977, emphasizing business litigation and insolvency matters. Ms. Loder is a former Chapter 7 panel trustee. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California (’77) and is a past president of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.

Dr. Reri MacLean, Board Secretary is the Principal and Founder of Keller-MacLean Business Leadership, a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to the development of sustainable, high performance teams. Reri is the national president of the Professional Coaches & Mentors Association (PCMA), a professional community of business coaches and consultants. 

Dr. MacLean earned a BA in Humanities from Macalester College, Master’s degrees in Education & Counseling Psychology from Whitworth College and a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver. Her background includes establishing and directing schools, providing consulting and coaching services to state and federal agencies and working with firms specializing in Industrial/Organizational psychology.


Paula Gould, Director – Ms. Gould owns PEG PR a boutique public relations firm specializing in the convergence of entertainment and technology. She has nurtured the growth of several start-ups ranging from fuel cell manufacturing to social networking to music branding companies and independent film. Paula is heavily engaged in the evolution of Web and Social Media initiatives that cultivate the way we do business. She has held Director of PR positions at a number of successful companies including TagWorld (MTV), Glen Wexler Studio, Music.com, and was the Editor at LuxuryLifestyle.com.

Ms. Gould has contributed to several magazines and websites including grandparents.com and G4 TV’s Best of the Best at CES. She has also appeared in WSJ, PRSA. And several Tech-focused news sites. She oversees communications for the Annual WITI Women and Technology Summit and is a panelist on “The Pitching Hour” at Comic Con. Ms. Gould donates her time often to a variety of charitable endeavors and was an organizer for the 2010 LATwestival benefiting Concern Worldwide—a global initiative to eliminate poverty through education.
